Terms of Use

01 Agreement

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Kicker AI ("we", "us") covering the Kicker AI iOS app and the kickerai.app website (together, the "service"). By downloading the app or using the service, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

The app is distributed through Apple's App Store, so Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Where these terms are stricter, these terms control.

02 What Kicker AI is

Kicker AI analyzes video of your kicks on your device and gives you scores, metrics, and drill recommendations to help you train. New users get one free kick analysis; continued analysis and the full feature set require a Kicker Pro subscription.

Scores and metrics are estimates produced by computer-vision analysis of your footage. Camera angle, lighting, distance, and clip quality all affect the numbers. They are training feedback, not an objective measurement, a scouting judgment, or a guarantee of athletic results.

03 Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old to use Kicker AI. If you are under 18, you may use the service only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these terms on your behalf. Many of our users are student athletes; our Privacy Policy describes how we keep the app safe for them by default.

04 Subscriptions and billing

Kicker Prois offered as weekly, monthly, and annual auto-renewable subscriptions. Every purchase is made through your Apple account using Apple's in-app purchase system. We never see or store your payment details.

Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Canceling stops future renewals; you keep Pro access until the end of the period you already paid for.

Prices. The exact price is always shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency. If we change prices, Apple notifies you and, where required, asks you to agree before you are charged the new price.

Refunds. Because Apple processes every payment, refund requests are handled by Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue App Store refunds directly.

05 Promo codes

We sometimes issue promotional codes (for example, founding athlete codes) that grant Pro access for a limited time. Codes are single-use, have no cash value, cannot be resold, and may be revoked if obtained or used fraudulently. When a promotional grant ends, Pro access ends unless you subscribe.

06 Your content

Your kick videos are yours. Pose tracking and scoring run on your device, and your full kick video is never uploaded. To generate AI coaching, a few still frames from your kick are sent to our server and our AI provider. Reels you export belong to you. You are responsible for your footage, including having the permission of anyone who appears in it and the right to film where it was recorded.

07 Acceptable use

You agree not to:

— use the service for anything unlawful;
— reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the app's models or scoring engine, except where the law says we cannot forbid it;
— circumvent the free-analysis limit, subscription checks, or promo-code limits;
— resell, rent, or redistribute the service or any part of it;
— interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.

We may suspend or terminate access that violates these rules.

08 Our property

The app, the website, the Kicker AI name and logo, the scoring engine, and everything else that makes up the service (other than your content) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for your own training. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

09 Train safely

Kicking practice is physical activity, and physical activity carries a risk of injury. Kicker AI provides automated feedback on technique; it is not a substitute for a qualified coach, athletic trainer, or medical professional. Consult a physician before starting a training program, warm up properly, train within your ability, and stop if something hurts. You use the service and act on its feedback at your own risk.

10 Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that analysis results are accurate, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that it will meet your goals.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or athletic opportunities, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us through the service in the 12 months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11 Termination

You can stop using the service at any time by deleting the app; manage any active subscription in your App Store settings, since deleting the app does not cancel it. We may suspend or end access to the service (or any part of it) if you materially violate these terms or if we discontinue the service. Sections 06 through 10 survive termination.

12 Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update this page and the effective date above. If a change meaningfully affects your rights, we will say so clearly in the app. Using the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

13 Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the laws of the state where we are based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
